Nagy Bálint – Hungary
I started horseback riding in 2002 and in a short while I took up archery as well.
I have been steadily interested in horses since my childhood but only had the opportunity to learn and practise riding as an adult. While doing so, archery soon became my passion, too.
I began attending the Open Days in the Kassai Valley in 2004.
I also tried my hand briefly at horseback fighting but I found Kassai’s system to be the best traditional martial art form for me.
I joined Kassai Horseback Archery School in 2006.
I have been competing since 2007.
The accurately developed grading system is an excellently constructed an educational structure for skills enhancement and the results of the efforts made toward skills development are precisely measurable in the systems of grading and competition.
I have been the chief of the Nagy Tribe since 2010 and have organized competitions since 2011.
I believe in the facilitating power of the Community and in the idea that joining and remaining part of a community in the long run require strong commitment of the members, which is exemplary in the Kassai Horseback Archery School community. The common goals provide internal motivation for long term cooperation.
