Abdullah Mohammed Ibrahim Altalib – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
A lover of equestrian since childhood, like as every Arab who tends to equestrian by nature
I owned horses from were young age…and I just enjoyed riding them and spending a lot of time with them.
I’ve been doing this for over 15 years…
started an equestrian team to present shows and participate in national events…
After that I was looking to improve my skills, so I learned to use spears and swords to pick up wedges, and I enjoyed it.
And at the beginning of 2017, my eyes fell on a bow in one of the electronic stores. I bought it to complete the equestrian equipments used in the past (sword – spear – bow)
After that I started learning archery with personal efforts
And I tried to communicate with Master Kassai in 2017 to learn archery, but it’s good enough to catch up with Master.
* And because there was no one interested in horseback archery in Saudi Arabia, I had to continue personal education…
After the meeting with the international archery coach Meshal Al-Otaibi, he made it easier for me.
Then to meet with coaches Hani Al-Fassam and Fouad Al-Madhahka and the establishment of training camps that made a difference in shooting….
And after participating in the 2019 World Championship in South Korea and achieving third place in the QABAQ round , it was a strong motivation to continue horse back archery and know more details about Arab Archery style and the type of bows and the technique in shooting, to spread the sport of archery more widely in my country.
Finally, we succeeded in communicating with Master Kassai and getting to know his shooting school. He visited my school and our horseback archery team and invited us to visit him in he’s school in Hungary.
And from here, we started a new phase And I enjoyed it through the exchange of cultures and the solid partnership with Master Kassai.
Special thanks to the Al-Msamma Riding School team (my secret of success).
