Wang Yichi – China
Most of my life has been spent in the company of horses, participating in various equestrian events such as show jumping. From a young age, I also enjoyed making bows and arrows by hand, which I consider the beginning of my journey into martial arts. In my country, all forms of martial arts are centered around the way of the bow and arrow. By chance, I encountered the archery system founded by Master Kassai. Through in-depth practice and engagement, I have gained profound insights into self-reflection and self-correction. I also wish to share these realizations with everyone around me.
As Master Kassai often says, “Just keep doing it.” When I reflect on this, I realize that there may be challenges and obstacles along the way, but when faced with these difficulties, we should not be disheartened. We must stay true to our original intentions and continue on our path. This philosophy and spirit serve as the best guide for personal growth at any stage of life.
As mentioned above, we often strive to achieve some form of external success in our lives, yet we tend to overlook the inner peace and the courage to move forward that our hearts truly need. These are the insights that became clear to me after engaging with the Kassai system and spending time with Master Kassai. Words are powerful, but the influence of this system and the Master on me is something that cannot be fully captured in writing. This is also the core of my motivation and vision in pursuing this path.
